I think that was one of the best camping / fishing trips we have had in a long time. Yes we did have the largest rainfall for a single day (3 1/2 inches) but it was mainly at night and over by the following late morning. It was a lot of fun preparing knowing that it was coming . Creating some of the most elaborate canopies to keep everything dry was a challenge and a total team effort. We knew it would be windy but never expected 50+ mph gusts. WOW…

It was party time on thursday playing horseshoes in a new round robin format . We had lots of people coming around just to watch , it was clear we were having a great time. The music was blasting and the drinks were flowing.

We made several giant bonfires , tee pee style , that were more than 8 feet tall with at least 25-30 logs minimum !!
