2026 Bantam Lake Spring Camping

Another year has gone by and the 2026 Spring Camping / Fishing (??) is just 2 weeks away. Unfortunately, the New York Rangers are out of the playoffs this year (AGAIN) but we should have an interesting matchup between the Yankees and Mets starting on May 16th. The events schedule is updated!!! Unless a miracle occurs, I don’t see anyone catching 32 lbs. 2 oz from the shore so the world’s record at Bantam Lake will live on with Big Daddy Grip, the only member in the 13 lb. Northern Pike club. In lieu of fishing we will feature a major Corn hole tournament and bird watch guided tour sponsored by the self-serving morons on the White Memorial Board of Directors that ruined the Bantam lake Camping / Fishing experience enjoyed by hundreds of happy campers over the years by instituting new rules to discriminate against fisherman and mobile home users that have graced the campground and paid the salaries to keep the site open. See you in 2 weeks

2025 Fall fishing /Camping

Records are made to be broken and this year that were totally smashed. Big Daddy Grip set the tone early with a 13.7 record Northern pike only to top it the follwing day with a 13.11 pike.  Also broken was the 3 fish total weight of 23.9 set in 2006 by big Daddy Grip with a new record catch 32 pounds 2 ounces .  John B. aslo caught a monster pike of 11.5.

2025 Spring Winner

Big Daddy Grip is the new 2025 Spring Champion, dethroning Tommy K and avoiding an unpresidented three-peat. Kenny takes the lunker.

2024 Spring Winner

12.2 lb Northern Pike

It won’t be long now

It won't be long until we are huddled under the canopy watching the torrent of rain, and wondering about alien abduction: http://www.countytimes.com/articles/2012/04/25/news/doc4f98913a138be200820430.txt?
